    From amaranth, toasted, puffed, popped, extruded products can be made, which can be mixed into muesli, yogurt, kefir.     Amaránt elkészítése

    Mosd át alaposan az amaránt magokat hideg, tiszta vízzel, tedd egy edénybe, önts hozzá 2,5-szeres mennyiségű vizet (pl: 1

    csésze amaránt maghoz, 2 és 1/2 csésze vizet adj).

    Adj hozzá egy kávéskanál sót, majd forrald,  miután felforrt, kb. 15 percig főzd alacsonyabb lángon (a gőz puhítja a magokat)

    Vedd le a tűzről, és hagyd állni 10 percig, hogy teljesen felszívja a vizet.

    Ezután egy villával törd át: nézd meg maradt-e közte nedvesség, akkor jó, ha nem!

    Ízlés szerint fűszerezheted.
