Chestnut Honey
Characteristic: Its color can range from yellow to dark brown. It has a distinctive, bold flavor with a bitter aftertaste.
Recommended: Due to the smoky, spicy flavor profile of chestnut honey, it can be an excellent choice for aged cheeses, hearty meat dishes, or flavorful autumn fruits, such as pears.
Storage: In a sun-protected place at room temperature.
Due to its characterful taste, it can be perfect for making gingerbread.
Put honey only in consumed beverages at room temperature (max 45°C) to preserve its quality!
Honey crystallization is a natural process! It doesn't affect its quality at all. Crystalized honey can be liquefied again in a 45°C water bath.
Composition: pure chestnut nectar. High fructose content honey, therefore it crystallizes slowly.
