A D-vitamin hozzájárul a kalcium és a foszfor normál felszívódásához/hasznosulásához, a vér normál kalciumszintjének fenntartásához, az egészséges csontozat, izomfunkciók, a normál fogazatfenntartásához. A D-vitamin hozzájárul az immunrendszer normál működéséhezés szerepet játszik a sejtosztódásban.
