What is Erythritol?
Erythritol is a naturally occurring sweet-tasting substance found in vegetables and fruits, which is obtained in large quantities through the fermentation of plants, purification, and crystallization to make it usable for sweetening similar to sugar.
However, its properties are different:
Glycemic index: 0
Practically calorie-free (just 20kcal/100g);
Does not raise either blood sugar or insulin levels;
Unlike other sweeteners, it has no aftertaste and does not cause diarrhea;
Helps prevent tooth decay and the formation of tartar;
Dishes made with it spoil more slowly because it does not provide nutrients for fungi and bacteria;

What is stevia?
Stevia (also known as sweetleaf, sweet leaf or sugarleaf) is a truly unique plant, as its leaves are sweet. Thanks to this, an extract made from its leaves can be used as a natural sweetener. It can replace sugar or other artificial sweeteners in any household.
Consumed in larger quantities, a bitter aftertaste reminiscent of licorice develops.
Its intensely sweet taste makes it suitable for sweetening low-carbohydrate diets. It can beneficially influence certain symptoms such as obesity, diabetes, allergies, atherosclerosis, or high blood pressure. It has no effect on blood sugar levels, in fact, it even slightly increases glucose tolerance, so it can be used by diabetics. It inhibits the proliferation of many harmful bacteria and viruses, so it can be effectively used against colds, influenza, and oral infections.
