Recipe for crispy crust fragrant homemade bread
Ingredients (for about 500g of bread):
- 270 g Szafi Free homemade bread flour mix
- 3 g Himalayan salt (according to taste and saltiness)
- 40 g freshly squeezed 100% lemon juice
- 300 g lukewarm water

Preparation:
Mix lemon juice, salt, and spices (optional) in the water, then add the 270 grams of flour mixture and knead, then knead the dough (about 2 minutes).
Let the dough rest for 5 minutes, then knead it on a floured surface (with about 5g of flour) in a way that the outer surface remains slightly floured.
Brush the top of the bread with 1 gram of coconut oil.
Let the bread rest for 20 minutes. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and bake for 50 minutes, then increase the temperature to 200 degrees Celsius and bake for another 20 minutes.
Allow to cool on the grill before slicing.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
If someone has a weaker oven and feels that the bread is not fully baked, they should proceed as follows:
- Under no circumstances bake it in the shape of bread, this bread should not be baked in a strong oven!
- Do not bake on plastic silicone mat, place it on paper instead.
- If you still feel the dough wet after the above 2 points, after kneading it and washing your hands, when you are about to shape the bread, add 15 grams of flour and knead the dough again, then shape it and bake it this way, so the inside will definitely not be wet.
Furthermore, we recommend shaping it into rolls, baguettes, or smaller loaves instead of a single loaf of bread!
