What is it good for?
The essential oil extracted from the flowering shoots of garden thyme has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, deodorizing effects, can help with upper respiratory problems, relax bronchial spasms and has a cough-suppressant effect.
How do we use it?
For vaporization, aromatherapy, inhalation, skincare.
Evaporation: Add 3-5 drops to the water-filled part of the aroma lamp, the evaporator, or the diffuser. It can have a positive effect on respiratory health during cold seasons.
Aromatherapy Bath: thoroughly mix 3-4 drops of oil in 1 tablespoon of cream, honey, or bubble bath, then add it to the bath water.
Skincare: Dissolve 20-30 drops of essential oil in 50 ml of base oil (apricot kernel, grape seed, macadamia, or almond oil), and massage our skin with the oil after bathing.
Rinsing solution: Mix 5 drops of thyme and clove oil and 15 drops of peppermint and eucalyptus oil into 100 ml of 70% alcohol and shake well. In case of bad breath, drop 20-30 drops of this solution into a glass of lukewarm water and rinse with the mixture after brushing your teeth.
Nail care: dissolve 10-10 drops of anise, thyme, and cinnamon oil in 20 ml of macadamia oil, and apply it to the brittle, possibly infected nails 2-3 times a day.
