How does it work?

Sunlight also contains blue light waves, which help regulate our sleep/wake cycle, our circadian rhythm, along with other wavelengths of light. However, nowadays we are exposed to an excess of blue light due to artificial lights, which is known as light pollution.

This includes the time spent in front of televisions, phones, and computers, as well as rooms illuminated by artificial, man-made LEDs and fluorescent lights. Even if we just read a book, we do it in artificial light that emits more blue light than natural sunlight. During the day, excessive light pollution has a drastic impact on neurotransmitters and hormones, which are responsible for, among other things, the quality of sleep.

The TrueDark® Daylights glasses help prevent the dominance of polluted light from artificial light sources.
