Product Description
For use as a skincare and massage oil suitable for all skin types
Production, cultivation, distribution
Apricot kernel oil (Armeniacae oleum) is produced from the kernels of the apricot tree (Armenica vulgaris), belonging to the rose family (Rosaceae), by pressing, and then refining it with a yield of about 40-45%.
Composition, quality
The main component of pale yellow or yellow oil is oleic acid (60-70%) and linoleic acid (20-30%), both unsaturated fatty acids.
Usage
Softening and moisturizing oil is used to prevent the early signs of aging of the skin and to care for sensitive, inflammation-prone skin, partly on its own, partly as a carrier or active ingredient in products (face and body oils, creams, masks).
