One of the most popular paleo flours is flaxseed flour, the defatted ground flaxseed.
This product was primarily created to facilitate paleo diet, but it can also be easily incorporated into other allergen-free and low-carb diets.
After cold pressing, flax seeds are ground into flour, making it usable similar to other flours. Due to the low smoke point (105 C) of flaxseed oil, most of it is no longer present in the resulting flour, making it safe for baking compared to normal flaxseed meal, and its nutritional value is nearly double!
