Why is it good?
Due to its content of magnesium, iron, and zinc, sesame seeds are an important ingredient in healthy nutrition. They are an excellent natural source of vitamins B and E. They have high levels of lecithin, which protects the cardiovascular system from cholesterol build-up, and organic phosphoric acid, which serves as a primary building block for brain and nerve tissues.
Among seeds, sesame seeds have the highest calcium content. Half a cup of sesame seeds contains three times more calcium than a cup of milk.
Studies have shown that among all oils, sesame oil is most effective in inhibiting the growth of cancer cells.
