Product Description
Couscous? What could this funny named food be? If you haven't encountered it yet, let us tell you what couscous is and what it's good for!
Couscous, of Berber origin, is made from durum wheat semolina. Originally, the semolina was hand-rolled into tiny balls, steamed, and then rolled in flour. Its great advantage is that it cooks up very quickly, so if you're short on time, it's a great choice.
Preparation suggestion: pour couscous into one and a half times the amount of boiling, herb-infused water, remove from heat and let it rest covered for 10 minutes. You can serve it as a mouthwatering main course mixed with steamed vegetables and grilled (cereal) meat.
Ingredients: durum wheat (semolina)
