As a skin care and massage oil for all skin types
Production, cultivation, diffusion
Jojoba oil (Simmondsiae oleum) is extracted from the seeds of the jojoba tree (Simmondsia sinensis, syn. S. californica), which belongs to the Simmondsiaceae family, through pressing and refining, with a yield of approximately 50%.
Composition, quality
This product is a golden-yellow, oily, liquid state wax, which contains mainly eicosanoic acid (approx. 70%), oleic acid, and erucic acid (approx. 10-10%) as major fatty acid components.
Usage
Jojoba oil is known for its beneficial properties such as being slow to spoil, quick to absorb into the skin, good at retaining scents, and moisturizing. It is suitable for all skin types and can be used on its own as a base oil or added to complex formulations (e.g. oil blends, creams) in a 10-15% concentration alongside other carrier oils.
