Product Description
Whole grain flours utilize all three components of the grain seed: the endosperm, the bran, and the germ. Therefore, they can provide beneficial fiber, vitamins E and B, iron, magnesium, selenium, and zinc present in them.
In refined flours, the grains are ground very finely, losing some of the nutrients they contain in the process. However, the advantage is that they have a longer shelf life. We still recommend whole grain versions, as they contain all the minerals and nutrients.
Blend with other flours or use on its own to thicken pastries, breads, soups, and sauces!
