COLD-PRESSED PEANUT OIL Solio's cold-pressed peanut oil is made from the seeds of peanuts (Arachis hypogaea) by a gentle, heat-free mechanical cold pressing process. It is then filtered through a paper filter before bottling, resulting in a colorless, odorless oil that is rich in oleic acid and resistant to rancidity. This easily absorbed oil, rich in vitamin E, is recommended for all skin types, especially for dry, highly stressed skin, and for making massage oils. It is considered a 'base oil' suitable for all skin types, to which other fatty oils (such as wheat germ and jojoba) are often added in smaller quantities.
