CHOLINE BITARTRATE IS THE WATER-SOLUBLE SALT OF CHOLINE

Choline is a naturally occurring component in the human body, it is virtually ubiquitous and is a key constituent of many biologically important cell membrane phospholipids (one of which is phosphatidylcholine).

Choline bitartrate is the water-soluble salt of choline. Choline bitartrate, a versatile, stable compound with GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) status, is essential for the structure of cell membranes and is involved in various metabolic processes. Dietary intake of choline affects the amount of choline in tissues and organs, as it is indispensable since the body does not produce enough even under ideal conditions.

KOLIN - LIVER AND DIGESTION

There are several foods that can be considered as good sources of choline, such as beef liver and egg yolks. Our product, however, contains choline in its pure form, which contributes to the maintenance of normal liver function, as well as plays a role in normal lipid metabolism and homocysteine metabolism.

KOLIN AND HOMOCYSTEINE PLASMA LEVELS

It has been shown that choline intake has a direct inverse effect on plasma levels of homocysteine, a metabolically produced amino acid associated with numerous harmful cytotoxic and cardiovascular effects.

Homocysteine is a controversial biomarker, byproduct, risk factor, or active ingredient in biochemical changes, although many believe it can be associated with numerous diseases such as late-life cognitive decline, cardiovascular diseases, and unsuccessful pregnancies: including low birth weight, pre-eclampsia, placental abruption, and recurrent miscarriages.
