Bee venom: also known as Apitox, originates from the Latin word apis (bee) and the Greek word toxin (poison). Bee venom is one of the most effective natural substances known for its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties. Bee venom consists of nearly 30 biologically active substances, many of which are practically impossible to synthesize. Its main anti-inflammatory components include melittin, apamin, adolapin, phospholipase, and hyaluronidase. Nowadays, bee venom is widely used for preventing and treating joint inflammation, rheumatism, lumbago, inflammations, arthrosis, and other degenerative musculoskeletal disorders. Additionally, when applied topically, bee venom provides long-lasting effects, significantly reduces muscle pain, heals sprains, bruises, ligament strains, and common sports injuries.
