The manufacturer has chosen Naticol® French fish collagen for this product, more precisely its most pre-digested form, where the average peptide size is already below 2000 Daltons, thus making it rapidly and fully utilized. Another significant difference is that this collagen is Neu5Gc-free, therefore we recommend it even for individuals strictly following an autoimmune diet, who avoid food from mammals due to their Neu5Gc content (collagens are mostly made from porcine or bovine sources). Numerous French and Japanese human clinical trials have been conducted with Naticol®, based on which a daily intake of 2.5 to 5g may be sufficient, but it is best to consume 5-10g daily, which is what we recommend. Of course, you can consume more than this, but it only comes with minimal additional benefits. It can be mixed into any liquid, and it has a neutral taste. It is excellent in a morning smoothie.
