The Garuda Ayurveda® Balm is a balm containing eucalyptus, wintergreen oil, menthol, and camphor to treat symptoms of colds and flu.
The Garuda Ayurveda Eucalyptus Balm is an essential and versatile representative of the home pharmacy. It is successfully used to relieve the symptoms of colds and flu, as well as for mosquito and insect bites, and is excellent for massaging the area behind the temples and ears in case of headaches. The balm should always be applied in a thin layer without rubbing to the affected area (chest, back, around the nose, temples, and sore joints). The plant-based active ingredients penetrate the skin and, when inhaled, enter the body, exerting their antiseptic, anesthetic, and cleansing effects.
Application recommendations:
- in case of a cold, cough,
- For nerve inflammation, myositis,
- migraine headache
- In case of insect or mosquito bites (the itching and swelling decrease or disappear), effective as a mosquito repellent,
- For muscle soreness and pain, tingling sprains and dislocations
Dosage:
For cold cough: Apply lightly 3-5 times a day around the nose, neck, chest, and back. Immediate relief can be felt upon application, and significant improvement in the patient's condition is usually seen within 48 hours.
For inhalation: Dissolve two teaspoons of balm in a bowl of hot water and inhale the rising steam.
For headache: Apply on the forehead, temples, and earlobes
For joint problems: it is recommended to apply it locally by rubbing the sore body part, which creates local hyperemia, so its application results in relief for a few hours. Repeat this procedure frequently for 2-4 days, multiple times a day.
For insect bites: apply a cream to the bite area.
Ingredients in 5 ml: Mentha piperata oil 15%, Gaultheria procumbens leaf oil 10%, Cinnamomum camphora leaf extract 10%, Eucalyptus globulus leaf oil 8%, Pinus longifolia heartwood oil 3%, Cinnamomum zeylanicum bark oil 2%, Cymbopogon citratus leaf oil 2%, Syzygium aromaticum flower oil 1.50%, Melaleuca leucadendron oil 1%, Carum copticum fruit extract 1%, Myristica fragrans fruit oil 0.50%, Liquid paraffin q.s., Color CI 47000 q.s.
