JutaVit Beta Glucan Complex contains beta-glucan extracted from Saccharomyces Cerevisiae yeast, organic zinc, organic selenium, and Vitamin C. Beta-glucan is a naturally occurring polysaccharide with different subtypes depending on the number of carbon atoms in the molecule. It is a component of the cell walls of fungi, plants, and bacteria. It exists in both soluble and insoluble forms, with the insoluble beta-glucan (1,3/1,6 D) having higher biological activity than the soluble form. The product contains only organic-bound, highly bioavailable zinc gluconate. The organic zinc derived from zinc gluconate is better absorbed than inorganic zinc compounds like zinc oxide. The product also contains organic-bound, highly bioavailable L-seleno-methionine. The organic selenium from L-seleno-methionine is better absorbed than inorganic selenium compounds like sodium selenite or selenate. Selenium, zinc, and Vitamin C contribute to cellular protection against oxidative stress. Selenium is involved in normal sperm formation. Selenium, zinc, and Vitamin C support the normal function of the immune system.
Dosage: Take 2-3 capsules daily before meals with fluids.
