The Szafi Reform oatmeal provides a perfect gluten-free alternative as a side dish, risotto, or as a vegan main course with vegetables.
Usage recommendation:
Boiled spicy oat side dish (for 2 servings: 300 grams)
- 125 g oatmeal
- 400 g water (4 dl)
- 4 g Szafi Reform Himalayan salt
Cook on a slightly lower heat setting (around level 6-7 on a stove with a maximum setting of 9) with the lid on for about 6-8 minutes. Halfway through (after 4-5 minutes), stir to prevent sticking. After the cooking time is up, stir again, cover, and let it rest for an additional 10 minutes (during this time the rolled oats will absorb the cooking water fully). Serve as a side dish, or mix with cooked/roasted vegetables for a bowl of vegetarian/vegan meal. Season to taste!
