Gluten-free, spicy base to easily prepare lunch or dinner.
Usage recommendation:
Chinese sweet and sour chicken
Ingredients (for 4 servings):
- 70g tomato paste
- 80 g Szafi Reform Chinese sweet and sour chicken base
- 800 g chicken breast
- 3dl water
- 1dl pineapple juice (e.g. from canned pineapple)
- 1 piece of yellow bell pepper
- 1 piece of red onion
- approx. 200 g of canned pineapple
Preparation:
Heat 2 tablespoons of any oil in a pan and fry the diced chicken breast until it turns white (if the meat releases water, drain it).
Add the chopped onion, diced peppers, and also diced pineapple, and cook for another 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix the Chinese sweet and sour base with water, pineapple juice, tomato paste, pour it over the meat, mix well, and simmer for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
