Calcium is necessary for maintaining normal bone and tooth structure. Calcium contributes to normal muscle function and the normal operation of digestive enzymes. It plays a role in normal energy-producing metabolic processes and in normal impulse transmission. Calcium is involved in cell division processes and cell specialization. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, maintenance of normal blood calcium levels, maintenance of healthy bone and muscle function, and normal tooth structure. Vitamin D contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and plays a role in cell division. JutaVit Organic Calcium contains only organic calcium citrate, which is more readily absorbed than inorganic calcium derived from calcium carbonate.
Dosage: swallow 1-2 tablets daily with liquid.
