Product Description
Before using hulled millet, just like other seeds, sift through or at least transfer it from one container to another in order to be able to remove any visible smaller impurities - stones, other seeds, etc.
Wash in a sieve under running water. 'Modern' general diet mostly consists of acidic foods called commercial food products. In contrast, millet is an alkalizing food. Due to its nutritional values, it occupies a prominent place on the menu of reform nutrition.
Just one example of the many uses: precooked millet for breakfast, stored in the fridge as a supply for about four to five days. Taking out three to four tablespoons of it, heating it up for a minute, adding yogurt, jam in the winter, or frozen fruits. Fresh seasonal fruits can also be added. This mix is sufficient until noon, it is satisfying but not fattening.
