SOLIO SOYBEAN OIL COLD PRESSED Soybean oil has a favorable fatty acid composition with a good balance of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. It is one of the main sources of essential fatty acids in plants, containing not only n-6 but also n-3 fatty acids. Soybean oil is used as a raw material in margarine production. Many plants, including many legumes such as soybeans, contain a high amount of isoflavones classified as phytoestrogens. These compounds are similar to estrogen (a sex hormone) but with weaker activity, yet present in much higher concentrations in plants than in the blood. Due to their structural and functional similarities, phytoestrogens play a protective role similar to sex hormones in menopause, osteoporosis, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer. Neutral in taste, high in protein, lecithin, and linoleic acid. It also contains carotene and vitamin E. Recommended for use in cooking, baking, and salads without heat treatment. It is advisable to store it in a dark place as the iron and copper it contains can easily oxidize, causing a change in the oil's color.
