Product Description
The sweet wormwood, also known as sweet Annie and sweet sagewort, contains flavonoids, blood sugar lowering inulin and fragrant coumarin. It is a plant known and used for centuries, and its excellent properties are supported by the latest scientific findings.
- Primarily used in cases of gallbladder, kidney, bladder and liver problems. It can be used for pyelonephritis, to eliminate kidney stones, for diuresis, and in cases of proteinuria. Removal of small gallstones and biliary sand is also possible with the tea.
- Can be used in rheumatic and joint diseases. It has anti-inflammatory effects, so it can be consumed in case of intestinal inflammation.
- Externally wound healing, ulcer cleansing. Can be used as a gargle for inflammation of the oral cavity, gingivitis, and sore throat. It can also be used effectively as a cleanser and compress for eczema.
Instructions: 2 teaspoons of goldenrod herb/ 1 filter.
Contraindication: Due to its diuretic properties, it is not recommended for patients with heart conditions, or only under medical supervision, as it can flush potassium out of the body. It is also not recommended in cases of impaired kidney function. Co-administration with diuretics is strictly prohibited!
Combinations with other herbs
- Combined with common goldenrod and white dead-nettle, goldenrod is suitable for treating difficult-to-heal cystitis and pyelonephritis.
- In case of inflammation of the urinary tract: birch leaves, bearberry leaves and yarrow help to increase its effectiveness.
- For arthritis and gout: can be blended with juniper and birch leaves.
- In case of high blood pressure, adding juniper, birch leaf and lemon balm can enhance its effectiveness.
