    Sunflower is one of the most well-known crops in our country, traditionally cultivated primarily for feed purposes, or as raw material for industrial large-scale oil production. However, there is a healthy, nutritious alternative to the well-known industrially produced sunflower oil, which is cold-pressed sunflower oil produced purely by mechanical means. Its production is very efficient, as there is no need for chemicals and other additives to increase yield and speed up the process, so all valuable nutrients of the seeds are preserved during processing. This manufacturing process also allows the utilization of the leftover dry matter following oil pressing - the pellet, which is also rich in valuable nutrients and fibers. Its exceptional nutritional value is confirmed by laboratory tests, it would be a waste to discard it. Through the Zero Waste technology applied in the production of Grapoila products, food is made from the pellets as well: they are ground into fine flour. The resulting gluten-free sunflower seed flour has a lower fat content compared to the oil-rich sunflower seed, but it contains all its valuable minerals, water-soluble vitamins, and fibers. Due to its extremely low carbohydrate content and naturally occurring sugars in minimal amounts, it can be excellently incorporated into almost any dietary plan. Its protein and dietary fiber content is exceptionally high, and it contains significant amounts of magnesium, zinc, selenium, manganese, copper, and iron. Consuming sunflower seed flour can provide our bodies with many valuable nutrients. Thanks to its texture and mild flavor, it can be used in various ways in the kitchen.
