The OCUTEIN FORTE preparation contains 15 mg of lutein, polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins A and B2, as well as vitamins and trace elements (vitamins C and E, zinc, copper, and selenium) that contribute to the protection of cells against oxidative stress. The preparation is made with fish oil rich in DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid). DHA is a part of the retina structure and plays a role in maintaining normal vision. Lutein and zeaxanthin, belonging to the carotenoids, are mainly found in high concentrations in the macula lutea, the components of the macula. Members of the Vitamin and mineral complex, vitamins C and E, zinc, copper, and selenium trace elements contribute to the protection of cells against oxidative stress. Vitamins A and B2 have a role in maintaining normal vision.
