Canola is a plant belonging to the cabbage family, similar to turnips, cabbage, and Brussels sprouts. The honey made from it is recognized by its white or buttery yellow color, cabbage-like scent, and slightly peppery flavor. It has a high content of grape sugar (glucose). It also contains fruit sugar (fructose) and maltose.
We recommend: mild sweetness, versatile due to its unique flavor profile. You can use it in hot drinks, or for baking, cooking, but most importantly, we recommend and use it as the base for homemade cream honeys.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight!
Important: Honey should only be added to drinks at consumption temperature, up to a maximum of 45°C, to preserve its quality! The crystallization of honey is a natural process that does not affect its quality. Due to the composition of rapeseed, it crystallizes fastest, but this is a natural state and does not affect its quality! Crystallized honey will return to liquid form when warmed. All real honey will crystallize, which can be explained by its fructose-glucose-sucrose content and ratio.
Composition: made from the nectar of the canola plant. It has a high content of glucose, which makes it crystallize faster.
