WORLD PROTECTED MICRONUTRIENTS/MICRONUTRIENTS
- Our product contains a biologically active and the latest, 4th generation Quatrefolic® folate protected by a worldwide patent (US Patent No. 7,947,662), which can be utilized by our bodies without further biological transformation.
- Among the globally patented ingredients, Abion™ Ferrochel™ iron bisglycinate (US patent number 7,838,042) is a well-tolerated form of iron that does not cause stomach discomfort.
- The VitaMK7® K2 vitamin we use is protected by a world patent (US Patent No. 7,718,407). It is a natural form of menaquinone-7, fermented by Bacillus subtilis natto, with over 99% all-trans K-vitamin content.
WHAT IS FERMENTATION?
Fermentation of foods is a process of transformation that many ethnic groups have been practicing for centuries. Examples include Japanese miso soup and Korean kimchi from Eastern cultures, but we don't have to go that far - pickled vegetables are also part of a healthy diet in Hungary.
- Fermentation is an excellent way to break down cellulose, enhancing the nutrient content and biological availability. It also improves the amino acid and vitamin composition, as well as the biological availability of minerals.
- During fermentation, microorganisms convert carbohydrates into alcohols and carbon dioxide or organic acids. Fermentation is a form of predigestion because it breaks down the components into easily absorbable amino acids and polyphenols.
- Plants or herbs have excellent active ingredient content, but their utilization is questionable due to the difficult digestibility of plant components. Fermentation is also a great way to break down cellulose, as it improves biological availability.
Fermentation results in gut-friendly form, diversifying the gut microbiome. During fermentation, ingredients become more easily digestible, leading to higher bioavailability.
WHAT DOES LYOPHILIZATION MEAN?
Lyophilization, in Hungarian known as freeze-drying, is actually a water removal process. Through the application of this technology, vegetables and fruits are dried by freezing the water into ice and then evaporating it under vacuum with gentle heating. This method is advantageous because it preserves the product's structure, taste, and sensory properties to the highest degree.
The history of freeze-drying can be traced back to the Incas, who preserved their crops in the high mountains using a similar method, taking advantage of low air pressure and night frosts. The first documented freeze-drying process was conducted by Altmann in 1890 on organ tissue pieces. The industrial-scale application of this technology only became widespread during World War II, when it was used for preserving penicillin and blood plasma. By the 1950s and 1960s, freeze-drying had also become common in the food industry.
The Relationship Between the Microbiome and the Immune System
The gastrointestinal system harbors an extremely complex and diverse microbial community, the composition of which varies individually, as unique as our fingerprints. The gut microbiome not only plays a role in digestion and defense against pathogens, but also interacts closely with the gut mucosa immune response, while the immune system supports the gut bacterial flora.
Through fermentation, the valuable components found in fruits and vegetables intensify to further support the balance of gut bacteria. The colloquial term referring to these complex, interactive processes is when people say that 70% of our immune system is located in the gut.

Well-absorbed and sustainable vitamin D3 derived from algae and plant sources
Vitamin D3 is produced in our skin by the action of sunlight, mostly found in animal-based foods, excellent sources include fish, which obtain their vitamin D content from microalgae. These algae live on the water surface and synthesize vitamin D from D-provitamin through sunlight. The vitamin D content of microalgae is highest in August, so they are harvested then.
In addition to being suitable for vegans and vegetarians, algae-derived vitamin D3 is 100% sustainable and traceable, characterized by comprehensive quality and purity control. Unlike animal-derived vitamin D sourced from lanolin, the production process does not involve synthetic materials, solvents, or pesticides.
Production is an extremely low-energy process and is easily scalable, as algae grow very quickly. What's more, the 'algae waste' can be recycled in the next growth cycle, contributing to the efficiency of the process.
Vitamin D contributes to:
- for the absorption of calcium, and thus the normal blood calcium level
- to maintain normal skeletal structure and dentition
- for normal muscle function
- for the normal functioning of the immune system
- for normal cell division
