What is it good for?
The essential oil obtained from the petals of the Damascus rose has a calming effect. It can help with respiratory and cold symptoms, as well as skin problems. When used in rubs and massage oils, it can also enhance mood and relieve tension.
How do we use it?
For evaporation, for skincare.
Evaporation: Add 1 drop of rose oil and 3 drops of French lavender oil to the water-filled part of the aroma lamp, the evaporator, or diffuser. It can have a positive effect on the respiratory system during cold seasons, and may help with sleep disorders and anxiety.
Aromatherapy Bath: Thoroughly mix 5 drops of bergamot and 2 drops of rose oil in 1 tablespoon of cream, honey, or bubble bath, then add it to the bath water.
Skincare tip: For a sensual massage, dilute 1 drop of rose, jasmine, and palmarosa essential oils in 50 ml of carrier oil, and gently massage the blend into your skin.
