Product Description
Milk thistle contains silymarin, which is one of the most effective liver-protecting substances known today. It not only prevents liver damage but also stimulates the production of new liver cells, which can replace the damaged ones. Silibinin eliminates or reduces the effects of substances that cause liver tissue necrosis or liver shrinkage. Silibinin 'detoxifies' the liver and promotes its regeneration. So far, milk thistle has no known toxic or harmful side effects. However, its use is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and it is contraindicated in cases of biliary tract obstruction.
Silymarin (and its compounds) act as antioxidants and free radical scavengers, protecting the liver. It enhances the ribonucleic acid and protein synthesis in liver cells. It is used in acute hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, and for treating and preventing drug-induced liver damage.
Half a liter of effective herbal tea can be brewed from one filter.
Prepare as usual: Brew 1 tea bag in half a liter of boiling water. After letting it steep for 10 minutes, discard the tea bag and enjoy the brewed tea with or without flavoring.
