- Dietary supplement containing lactase enzyme for individuals sensitive to lactose, in case of lactose intolerance.
- Lactose sensitivity or lactose intolerance is the inability to break down lactose - a type of sugar found in milk and dairy products. The cause of this is a lack of or low levels of the lactase enzyme needed for digestion.
Dosage: For adults consuming dairy/lactose-containing meals, take 1-5 tablets depending on the amount of lactose consumed. Each tablet contains lactase enzyme that can break down approximately 13g of lactose, which is roughly equivalent to 2.5 dl of cow's milk. Take the tablet directly before the meal, swallowing with liquid or chewing if necessary.
Packaging: 60 tablets
Ingredients: bulking agents (sorbitol, microcrystalline cellulose), lactase enzyme preparation ToleraseTM L (maltodextrin [corn], lactase enzyme [β-galactosidase], sodium chloride), anti-caking agent (magnesium salts of fatty acids).
