Gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free, yeast-free sweet and savory "yeastless" doughs can be made using a flour mix in moments.
Rich in dietary fiber, it can be a worthy ingredient of a balanced diet.
Recipe idea: Szafi Free braided bread
Ingredients (for a 490-gram loaf):
- 250g Szafi Free EXPRESS flour mix for no-yeast doughs
- 55g powdered erythritol (or powdered sugar) - it is very important that it is in powdered form
- 1g Himalayan salt
- 1g baking soda
- a pinch of vanilla powder
- 1 lemon zest (approx. 10g)
- 30g apple cider vinegar (or freshly squeezed lemon juice)
- 260g room temperature water
- We can add dried fruits, such as raisins, according to taste, to the spread.
- 10g freshly squeezed orange juice
Preparation:
Preheat the oven. Measure the dry and wet ingredients separately into two bowls, then pour them together and knead until the dough is no longer sticky (2-3 minutes).
Let it rest for 5 minutes after assembling.
Then divide the dough into 4 portions, roll them into 23 cm long ropes, leaving the middle thicker and the ends gradually thinner. Loosely braid together.
Before baking, brush with orange juice.
Bake in a preheated 180-degree oven, using top and bottom heat, for 50 minutes, then brush again and bake for another 15 minutes at 200 degrees. Let it cool down on a rack until warm, then enjoy as desired.
