The basic recipe is suitable for various types of yeast dough, whether it be cinnamon rolls, dumplings, scones, pizza, doughnuts, langos, croissants, bread, rolls, crescent rolls or your other favorite treats.
Why do we recommend this for children, babies?
In addition to flavors and good nutrients, special attention has been paid during the development to use only the smallest possible amount of added fiber for this product.
In this blend, alongside the highly water-soluble psyllium husk flour, the choice fell on non-water-soluble bamboo fiber flour. This does not draw water from the body, so it does not cause dehydration. This is a critical point for small babies and toddlers. During the development of the product, the amount of fiber per gram was reduced until it was minimally sufficient for the bread loosening effect.
Carefully selected ingredients include easily digestible gluten-free cereals, which can be safely introduced to babies right from the beginning of complementary feeding. Due to its minimal psyllium husk content, it is recommended from 12 months onwards.
What exactly does the flour mixture contain?
Ingredients: gluten-free flours (millet flour, rice flour, sorghum flour), tapioca starch, fiber blend (bamboo fiber flour, psyllium seed husk flour), phosphate-free baking powder (acid regulator: cream of tartar, raising agent: sodium bicarbonate, tapioca starch), locust bean gum flour (E410)
The endosperm of the carob tree seed mainly contains long chain carbohydrates, which are typically made of mannose and galactose. The ground endosperm of this part is called carob flour. It increases the shelf life of pasta, pastries made with it, and gives them a good texture. This ingredient is often used in baby formulas, porridges, and purees.
How to make it?
The exact recipe can be found on the packaging. For the flour mix, you only need to add water, fat, sweetener or salt to taste. For soft and fluffy doughs, it is recommended to use instant yeast. It can also be baked with baking powder only.
