With Szafi Free langos flour mix you can easily make homemade, gluten-free langos that is also dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free, corn-free, and yeast-free.
Instructions for use:
Lángos recipe (for 2 servings)
140 g Szafi Free lángos flour mix; 20 g freshly squeezed lemon juice; 100 g lukewarm water; coconut oil for shaping and frying
Preparation:
Heat up the coconut oil.
Mix together the ingredients, then let it rest for 10 minutes.
The dough will be soft, but easy to handle after resting.
Knead the dough on a floured surface, then divide it in half.
With oily hands and on an oily work surface, let's align 16 cm-diameter circles.
Fry in hot coconut oil for 4-5 minutes on each side (could be less depending on the heat).
Then, let's put it on a paper towel and wipe off the oil.
Serve according to taste and diet (e.g. with plant-based sour cream substitute and cheese substitute).
Note:
- Depending on the oil used, the cooking time may vary, so it is advisable to pay attention during the first baking to avoid burning!
