Tapioca starch 200g
Tapioca starch is extracted from the root of the cassava plant. It involves grinding the root and extracting the starch through a special process. The mixture is washed, mashed, and then the liquid is separated. This is how this alternative starch is made, which can easily replace traditional flour.
Suitable for baking, cooking, excellent thickener for sauces, stews. This is one of the most kitchen-friendly types of starch, as it is taste and colorless, extremely smooth, lump-free dishes can be prepared with it. A major advantage is that during rapid cooling, it does not precipitate from the cooked food, so it withstands cooling processes excellently.
Another important feature is that dishes made from it turn out crispy and crusty, making it highly recommended for making breads and pastries. When mixed with wheat flours, tapioca starch can create a real spongy bread texture.
It does not contain lectins, saponins, phytic acid, or any antinutritive substances.
