25kg of food grade citric acid from the Paleolithic era
In jam making, citric acid promotes the gelling process and enhances the natural flavor of fruits. In food, it is primarily used as an antioxidant (although it does not have this effect on its own, it enhances the effects of other antioxidants), as an acidity regulator, and as a flavoring agent under the name E330. In fruit dishes, it delays the discoloration of fruits due to oxygen. There is no restricted daily intake limit.
Most factory kitchen and bathroom cleaners contain a small percentage of citric acid. The citrus scent can be associated with a pleasant mood and a feeling of cleanliness, so it is also used in the production of air fresheners. Due to its excellent descaling properties and non-toxic nature, citric acid is a key ingredient in homemade cleaning products, unlike vinegar, which has no smell. Additionally, it softens water, making it a useful additive in the production of soaps and detergents.
